NorthSide Group (NSG), was formed in 2008 by the merger of two local financial firms owned and operated by Carmen and Stan Smith. NSG was created to address and provide quality solutions to the financial challenges that face the citizens of Northwest North Carolina and Southern Virginia.

Carmen and Stan have over twenty-five years of combined experience in the area of Mortgage, Wealth Management, Investment, and Real Estate Services. Adopting a CLIENT FIRST attitude, Carmen, Stan, and their staff will provide individuals, families and businesses genuine advice and trustworthy services to achieve their goals.

Carmen and Stan maintain key and active roles in their local community from positions on the local PTO board to coaching various sports teams throughout the year. NSG is very active in the sponsorship role for the local school system and various sports programs in the area. The Smiths reside in Mount Airy with their three children: Jackson, Macy, and Reece.
